Playstyle

Azure Dragon Taoist is a magical DPS immortal. It builds from Lazy Taoist which is a strong magical DPS option for players. It mainly becomes stronger than its summon condition of 3 Lazy Taoists when you reach immortal level 12. This speaks more to Tao being a solid mythic more than anything else. As such, it is highly recommended that you push for immortal level 12 when getting Azure Dragon Taoist.

Skills

Eye of the Storm - Passive

ATK increases by 1000%. Damage dealt increases by 2% the farther away the target is.

Ascension - Passive (unlocks at level 12)

While standing still, Taoist's damage dealt increases by 1% every 1s. (Max 100%)

Billowing Wind - Skill

Has a 9% chance to send a storm to the target. The storm lasts for 1s and deals 800% (+500% at level 6) Magic DMG to enemies in the area every 0.1s.

Cutting Gust - Skill

Has a 12% chance to unleash 4 guests of wind that deal 5000% Mgic DMG to enemies in the area. Dmaage is reduced by 50% with each consecutive hit on the same enemy.

Dragon Twister - Ultimate, MP

Creates a massive hurricane that deals 35000% Magic DMG to enemies in the area. The hurricane pulls nearby enemies towards its center.

How to Summon

Azure Dragon Taoist is summoned by consuming 3 Taos when their total Razorwind hits reach 2600. This is better aided by increasing the exclusive treasure level which extends the duration of Razorwind, hence dealing more hits.

Additionally, positioning your Taos in the second last column instead of the last (as is usually optimal) allows them to constantly attack and rack up hits instead of idling, especially in difficulties which you can clear easily.
